I started this piece from one of my favorite places in my neighborhood, the Currumbin valley.

After a long dry year, it was finally raining and the rain brought this beautiful landscape back to life.

It warms my heart and I couldn't resist painting this charming place.

I tried to capture the sense of life and purpose of this ancient sacred land. It talks to me, to my heart and it needed to be shared.

This is an original piece made in January 2020, in Burleigh head of Queensland.

Acrylics oil and pastel on stretched premium Italian linen. Spray varnished 3 times.
